All my eyes? How many eyes do you imagine I have?
And yes, I'm deliberately misunderstanding for comic effect.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

You can make your world operate how you wish it to, but you must first achieve exaltation.

No worries. You got me to laugh just fine!

Hey, PeterP...when you finally get excommunicated, feel free to come by my place and partake of roasted baby. (The tears make it tender.)

All joking aside, what makes you think I'll be excommunicated someday?

Revealed religions have a history of shitting on free thinkers, particularly when free thinkers shit on their sacred cows. You have dust in your eyes, young padawan, but only a little.

I simply accept my imperfections and try to enjoy life as much as I can. Learning from our mistakes is a great tool for preparing future generations, and I and my family are no exceptions.

PP, don't you worry that you are deliberately breaking one of your Church's commandments, that is, the Word of Wisdom? Don't get me wrong, I commend you in thinking for yourself on the matter of alcohol and coffee, but you don't feel guilt in your Temple Interviews when they ask if you are keeping the Word of Wisdom? Do you lie to your Stake President?

I simply tell him that I am keeping the Word of Wisdom, for I believe that I am. I don't consider it a lie, and I still feel right with God when I enjoy a beer with a few friends.
BTW, Temple Recommends are given by the Ward Bishop, not the Stake President. You've been gone some time now, haven't you? I bet Hinckley was still President when you left.

Stake President is merely a reference to how stakes hold the tent in place. Stake Presidents are firm foundations for the Church. I know...our terminology can be a bit different sometimes.

I have no idea what you two guys are talking about.
Everything I needed to know about life I learned on Dagobah.
