Some Advice needed from real people

Once you realize that something that was supposedly offered to you in love (christianity and god so called love) was actually not really and was offered in fear or rather to make you fear why would you still want to follow that god even if he was real.

Are you saying you were taught to fear hell to come to Christ, if you were you're were not alone, even Christ taught that hell is an awful place. Once you accepted Christ why would you have a fear of hell it's no longer a part of your life.

Quote:You believed your loving god because you were scared of him not because you loved him so how loyal could you really have been and if you are not really that loyal and it seems you are here in this place why bother being afraid of hell. Give it the finger seriously.

That's the problem many Christians find themselves in, after receiving Christ as savior they do not grow into that loving relationship. A new Christian should be taught by older Christian how to grow into a relationship of love. Seems this may not have been your experience and for that I'm sorry.

It isn't real.

Ha Ha! Burn!

(No seriously, this is what GC thinks will happen to you, BWS.)

That's what I hope doesn't happen, seriously.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

So then you admit that Christians teach a fear of hell. "Once you accepted Christ why would you have a fear of hell it's not longer a part of your life." According to you, without Christ, men should fear Hell. You are emotionally abusing people with this rot, GC, and you need to cut it out.

Well, if God really gave me free will, then I exercise it to not only skip out on Hell, but to skip out on Heaven too. I'm going to go build myself a solar system like the Mormons will and invite everyone for hookers and blow.

@GC, how about you stop telling people about your religion? That way they'll never hear of hell and will never have a fear of hell to begin with. And as I understand it, if you've never heard the supposed gospel, you can't be damned to hell if the whole thing is real. Win-win. So why are Christians spreading the good word when it's so obviously the wrong strategy?
