I don't understand, try pulling WHAT off in the hood? Repeating that conversation? Well, his concern is regarding the Christian aspects of it, I don't know why you'd go to the hood to complain about christianity.

On the other hand, there is nothing racist in describing the place where alot of black people live as the 'hood' and to imply that somehow one would get a violent response from them...

But ronedee said it with reproachful love learned from years of Catechism, so that makes it okay.

Uhh. there was something nice about catechism, on those pilgrimage trips, great fucks were given with all those pious church going girls. Speaking from experience, me and other guys did enjoy that praying time with those blessed girls, in the hoods near the camping site. RE: CAUTION: Strong Language - May offend christians.

If the OP was reproducing a conversation between 2 upper class Englishmen, and he included reproducing their accents and vernacular in the text, would that be racist? Seems like Ronadee may be the racist... The conversation was the conversation, including the pronunciation and vernacular. You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence. |
