Irrelevant to your premise of it being a stereotype.

How so? Explain your off-hand comment? Or, is it just to be contrary, as usual?

Where is the untruth in my statement?

Do you think something bad would happen to us if we spouted this crap in the 'hood'? That's something you'd love to see?

You didn't make a statement. You asked a question.

No, it's fucking not.

Sure, I would put it up, as long as everyone I worked with was smart enough to realize that I was just quoting what I heard and not an idiot that thinks I'm making some sort of insensitive racial statement.

And IF not?

I'll tell you...you'd be looking for another job.

Here is the deal: It is NOT necessary to relate that story (true or not) to anyone. It has no value at all. It serves no purpose but to challenge relationships and hurt innocent people. Especially delivered impersonally which opens the boat to all kinds of interpetations.

I truly believe the op meant no harm. But, I'm being the devils advocate (pardon the term) here.

I like a good laugh, and a good story. That is neither.

Ok...ok, from now on I'll reluctantly give a thumbs up when you are right!

It may be possible that I post provocative threads to expose christians on certain levels. Notice here, how the central issue (christian hypocrisy) was skewed (by "ronedee") toward racism. Oh how ironic that the theists defend themselves by throwing stones at innocent passers-by. Again, all I did was report what I observed. People watching makes me a racist? Really?

Whether they like it or not.... aka: not afraid of a "good" fight.

You walk in to stir up trouble and play the victim card when you get what you beg for.

The time you spend here would make you a better Christian if you could take on board what we're saying to you.

The OP repeated real conversations that actually occurred verbatim. They're specific, actual events that really happened (presumably, taking the OP at his word), not stereotypical dialect made up for the purpose. And the race of the conversants wasn't the point.

You assumed a malice not present due to your bias against us.

So here's the lesson on being a better Christian: when you ASSUME, you make an ASS out of U and ME. Big Grin

No worries, I've had to reluctantly give you kudoes a few times as well. It didn't hurt much. I would actually be less hard on you if I didn't think you were worth some effort. Cool Shades

At this point I'm at a loss for words, except for these three...

You're an idiot.

I could do it, because I know all of the right gang signs. Brothas would be all like "WHO THE FUCK JUST SIGNED THEY DEATH WARRA-- Oh, you know the signs, you a'ight." They we'd drain some 40s and slap some hos and shit would be all good.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
