Measles Outbreak at Vaccine-Denying Church

Yes, because I know the situation. If you want intimate knoweledge of the situation I can pray that you find out.

Quote:Give me a break. You are full of shit. I am quite certain they remain strong in their disbelief despite the toll the horrible disease has on them. Just because theists are weak-minded and must resort to an imaginary friend does not mean that everyone else is just like them.

Again, if you want to know if you would stand strong in your beliefs or eventually fold, there is a way you can find out for sure.. Mind you I don't think you would fold right away, I think you would be one to exhaust all that 'modern medicine' could do for you first. then when their was nothing else to be done, and you were at your end and absolutly knew it, you would at least make the effort to ask for mercy, even if you could not admit it.

A positive about being below the poverity level and contracting something like this, you know that alot of the avaiable treatments are or will be off the table for you, so you reach out to God sooner than you would if you could afford treatment. Others may be able to hold out for longer, but eventually all will fold on some level. Even if they can not openly admit it.

Not wish, Pray for it upon receiving your blessing to do so. And, it does not have to be just AIDS It could be a stroke, or cancer or anything else that it might take to save your soul. God knows how to break your pride just right, in order for you to know without doubt or hesitation that He not only exists, but you can see and hear Him working in your life.

Again I point back to what Christ said on John 12:
23 Jesus said to them, “The time has come for the Son of Man to receive his glory. 24 It is a fact that a grain of wheat must fall to the ground and die before it can grow and produce much more wheat. If it never dies, it will never be more than a single seed. 25 Whoever loves the life they have now will lose it. But whoever is willing to give up their life in this world will keep it. They will have eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me. My servants must be with me everywhere I am. My Father will give honor to anyone who serves me.

I am not praying for your death and subsequent judgement. I will be praying that you be subject to whatever it takes to provide you with eternal life. For some this could mean a winning lottery ticket, but to the hard hearted this usally means to be broken Spiritually which usally follows a physical break in one's health. Again whatever it takes is the key here. Not nessarily your death.

I'll take ignorant, condescending assholes for $1000, Alex, and I'll give you the question before you read the answer.

What is Drich?

Well Drich, says a lot about god to have a follower as sick and disgusting as yourself. Says a lot about god too that he's such a horrible god the only way to guarantee atheists would choose him is to make our supposed alternative as horrible as humanly possible. If your god appears in front of me right now I'll spit on his face and watch him flail his imaginary hands at me. If you're in front of me right now I'd call the cops on you. That's what I think of you and your god.

In short, fuck you both again.

Because I know (Like Christ knew) that the positive experiences in our lives are fleeting. That is why Christ preped all of the diciples for hardship. Just look at all of the many thousands who followed Christ saw and or even experienced the Miricals He performed... So, where were they when He was crusified? Even His diciples abandoned Him, except one. So out of the tens of thousands who experienced the 'positives' Christ provided ONE stayed with Him to the end. (Not to mention the fact that on the day he was executed and piolet ask which one the people of Isreal wanted to be let go, alot of the same people who saw the positives of Christ asked for barabus over Christ.)

I am not asking for the negitive for the sake of negitive things to happen to you. I am simply offering the same prayer on your behalf that i asked God on mine. To help me see, to open my eyes, my ears, my heart even if it means my health, wealth, and over well being to do so. To do whatever it takes to break me mold me, and make me into the person I need to be, even if it means my time here is cut short.

Edit: Sorry GodsChild I confused your name with Drich.

Me and the man with the funny hat do not often see eye to eye on things like this. But, that is ok. He has been appointed to simply do the best he can for the like minded people who follow him. Like wise I am to do the same with how and what I understand of God.

Then why not simply ask god for whatever it takes? That may not be something as negative as a deadly disease, but no, you jump right to that. If I lock my keys in the car, I could first try calling AAA, or I could smash the window simply for the sake of smashing something.

Then you have failed.

Why? To simply prove the point that there are no atheist when you are staring down the barrel of eternity. That is how I know those 'elite controllers' were healed. Because I know they prayed. Even the ones who thought they were atheist.

I'm not just talking about " a bad day, week, month, or even year." Again the offer is if you think you can, you will stand firm in your beliefs and not beg for mercy/life just say the word, and I will ask God to infect you with something or place you in a situation where you can find out for yourself.

I'm game. I'm more than game. Bring it on. I don't for one moment believe that the shit you're serving up is chocolate ice cream, but you purport so to do, so go for it. I've made it no secret here that I would welcome the chance to stare down death. Were I to lose my sanity, I would definitely pray for death on a daily basis.

In fact, let's turn up the heat. I don't want some piss-ant wussy copout like a disease, unless it's necrotising fasciitis or something similar. Make it a bullet, or a speeding train. How about an explosion?

Do it.

DO IT.

I am deadly serious.
Done. Now you pray for the same thing. Ask God to Give you or take away anything in your life (Health, wealth, or anything that you hold in your heart, before God.) Ask Him to drag you through the afflictions of Job, if that is what it takes.

This after all those threads in which you tell us prayer doesn't work that way?
[/quote]
I pray 'thy will be done.' "thy will" has been outlined in the John 12 posted above.

Again I not praying you contract something and die for it for the sake of spite I am praying that God gives you the gift of an illness like what is being discussed so you can tear down the walls you put up to keep you from Him.

Oh please pray for God to give me AIDS. Seeing as how I'm in a monogamous marriage, the chances of it happening are zero. What are you going to say when your God refuses to give me a deadly disease on your behalf?
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

LOL.

Then I suppose it would surprise you to learn that in January I faced a very real threat of death (influenza that progressed to pneumonia). I was literally drowning in fluid. Not once did I give your sky daddy a single thought.

Also - contrary to popular belief, there are in fact atheists in foxholes, even when under fire.
Big Grin
I know what pneumonia is. I've had it 3 times. the last time I had it for 3 months, (the bug is getting more resistant to the antibotics) So that leads me to ask if your medicine did not work, or you had no access to any medcine, and you lay there dying and knew there was nothing you could do...

They do not look like they're underfire to me. Or do you not know what a fox hole is? Those guys look like they work 'in the rear with the gear' where people can still afford to deny God. (Note the big High wall behind them and the gate.) Again a base is not a fox hole.
