In all honesty - I don't. It doesn't really affect me it Luke was referring to the dog's lineage, but, in all the years I have been speaking to Christians not one has ever even brought this up as a possibility. Its just another clever invention to get around a problem and I am thinking its probably your own.
At some time we need to talk about what proof means. It might be worth considering the advice given to jurors - beyond a reasonable doubt. There is nothing in the text to support your assertion. Any wild explanation will therefore do. This is akin to:
I am walking through a wooded area in England. I hear hoof beats behind me. I presume that its a horse rather than a zebra. There is a finite possibility that I am wrong There is also a finite possibility its actually a guy with coconuts and finally there is a minute possibility that its a chicken that does impressions.
It is reasonable for me to dismiss the chicken option, without definitive proof.
Mary's lineage is that chicken.
That linage has been accepted and taught for a long time, just because you have not heard about it means little to nothing, you should do your research.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
