Where is god now?

Where is god now?
Where is God? Where does he reside?
Once upon a time god lived in a mobile home of sorts called the "Ark of the covenant." (Just kidding, that was just god's "toy box" apparently)

Yet the bible is rift with images of god sitting on a throne, in heaven afraid that bronze age tower builders were gonna get him, wrestling (or groping) naked men in the middle of the night, and strolling through Eden giving his bio-robots directions, and of course everywhere where he can spy on everybody.

So where is he and why is he invisible and undetectable? Is he so afraid of us he has to hide?

Secondly, where is his toy box now? Did god grow up and not care about his things anymore? When did he quit caring about the ten commandments so that he failed to appoint new caregivers and provide for their protection?

Without the atonement Christ offers man was consumed by the presents of God. (Think raiders of the lost ark. If need be,)

In OT times this was the reason God and the holiest of holies was separated in the temple from everyone else's and that only one priest was allowed to enter that holy place and perform the required ceremonies once a year. After the death on the cross a great earthquake hit the temple and the massive curtain that separated the holy part of the temple from everyone else ripped from top to bottom signaling then end of the need we had to be separated from God.

In the book of Acts 2 the Holy Spirit gets 'poured out' over the believers of Christ. Enabling Spiritual fruit and Spiritual gifts. So God found a new home in the hearts of his believers, therefore the box That you are looking for was no longer needed and it was discarded. Why? So people would not worship it as an idol. So we would learn to invite God into our lives, rather than seek God in a box.

So the unchanging god had to change? In order that the new testament people would not get fried in his presence, god had to learn to control his brilliant essence, in other words?

This is pretty much conjecture, as no where in the bible does it say to discard the Ark of the Covenant, besides it was "blessed" and "Sacred", just like things priests and pastors bless things today. Should not all blessed objects now be discarded? Is the junk man going to make a killing at the vatican this week?

It's amazing how this omniscient, omnipotent god is always revising his plan as he goes.

It's almost like he doesn't know what he's doing and is making it up as he goes.

Well, almost. It's really like he's a patchwork fictional character.

Aye pretty much anyone care for Sodom and Gomorrah - This is a clear view that God Fucked up. With drunken Noah's ark God had regrets lol.

My own personal view is that God has probably died or like the Simpsons Clip (I dont know what you done with my son Jesus he hasent been the same since he came back)

UnChanging God refers to God's Nature, and Law.

No. Again God did not Change, God simply 'fried' Christ instead of the NT believer.

In order for your brand conjecture to work you must first biblically establish that objects are indeed 'blessed' in the Biblical Christianity.'

Otherwise one can simply discard the whole idea of blessed/sacred objects. 'sacred' objects are a carry over from idol worship. When the R/C church set out to coonvert the pagan world alot of compromise too place. Pagan holy-days and pagan practices like 'idol worship' were incorperated into Christianity. The first century Chruch didn't bless things because most of the people who worshiped had nothing to bless. Collecting and 'blessing' crap is an extra biblical 'religious' activity.

One of the most prevelant reoccuring themes in the bible is that in the OT objects were the focous of God's blessings. In the NT people received God's blessing themselves.

Forgive me, aren't you the one who told me in the past that god's law did change, and that's why we don't have to follow certain old testament commands anymore?

Given this, isn't the new testament a very definite change to the law?

The Holy Spirit was poured out on us in Acts 2. 'We' having been washed in the blood of Christ are simply able to receive the blessing of God directly.
