Are you aware that I as an atheist am concerned about people like the 'kill the gays bill' guy getting into office? Or a moralist with no morals like Drich who can honestly say he'd kill based on whether its moral (morality being dictated by a book and by god in that very Very flawed book)? I'm not afraid for the world when people gain rights, I'm afraid when they lose them.
I used to be like you. I used to fear that one day the time for retribution will come! and all the nonbelievers would be screwed. I appreciate your concern, I really do. But its like if I were concerned about the safety of your car based on my understanding that brakes can break and you smile because you know its not going to happen.

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
