Reserving my husband's flight to New Mexico for the funeral. He's coming out later, but I got us the same flight home.

Waiting on a pizza from Domino's. It's been an hour and 20 minutes. Just afraid I'll ultimately receive a soggy mess.

My father died early Thursday morning. Secular Funerals It wasn't unexpected. He's been ill for for sometime. I'm doing okay. Functional but occasionally teary. I really want to be in New Mexico soon. My father was and my brother is there.

Taking down the Christmas tree and writing a eulogy. It's a weird but productive combination.

Currently, I'm trying to figure out the best way to spend 12 hours in the San Francisco airport in March. Despite all my searching to avoid it, I ended up having an all night layover there. Not really looking forward to that. :/

Oh there's good. I'm reaffirming how much I like and can work with my brother for example. And I'm reconnecting with relatives I haven't talked to in a couple years.

But thank you. I'm flying out Tuesday, and I can't wait. The funeral is on Saturday next. But yes, some of dealing with it is sad and I'm crying now and then.

If it's at night, I don't have any suggestions except a good book. But if you have some time in that twelve, San Fran is a good town for a quick visit to a museum, or just to walk around. I've filled four to five free hours on business trips there more than half a dozen times and been quite happy.

I'm working through loss, but it will be ok. You get to your 50s and you've had to do this before. He was a good but far from perfect man. It'll be ok.

Coming down with a cold all of a sudden. Also, tried to make a sauce for chicken, noodles and peas with soy sauce and sugar and it caramelized way too quickly, filling the place with smoke.

Cheered the Seahawks on with Dreaming, while cooking the extra turkey I got during the holidays. Turned out pretty good.
