I still can't drive in this country.Esq, if the thing is serious, you could go to a pharmacy and get a proper rehydration solution. Somehow, I think Gatorade doesn't have all the required ingredients and may have a few undesired ones in excess...like sugar.
Pedialyte is the recommended option.

It's what the lady asked for, and I trust her to know how to manage her health problems. That said, I'll look into your and SteelCurtain's solutions tomorrow; we were only looking at gatorade as a quick fix solution for the night, until we can get her the rest of her medicine- this shit is complicated- in the morning. I also get her some less processed stuff to drink, cranberry juice and the like, but I like this Pedialyte idea particularly; something focused on this specific issue, I didn't even know such a thing existed.

They make a kind for adults too. I don't remember the name but they do have it. You could ask the pharmacist at any pharmacy. Pedialyte is made specifically for kids I think. Still, it'd be better than Gatorade. My suggestion, put it in the freezer until it gets a little icy. Otherwise the flavor isn't that nice.
Yeah, I gotta vote against Gatorade for serious dehydration. I was deathly sick two years ago and had to push fluids hard to try to win the dehydration race. I don't know exactly how long I used it (Kitty would know, I was delerious), but I don't think it really is the best choice for serious dehydration. Despite drinking a ton of the stuff, I still was badly dehydrated when I was admitted to the hospital.
See what the pharmacist recommends.
Find a nearby church and borrow some holy water. I hear that shit's pretty hardcore.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
