Just slammed my middle finger in the patio door. Ohmygerd. Ohmygeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrd. Slammed isn't even the proper verb. I didn't get my finger out of the way in time when the door was gently closing.
I can feel my heart beating in my fingertip. How come your immediate response is anger when you do something so stupid you can only really be mad at yourself? I would have slapped a person if there were one nearby. For no reason.

New here...it is just noon...I have been up since 4:45am ...went to my work shop and and got as far as I can go today...still waiting on materials to complete my task, a paycheck, and move on the next task..that keeps my bills paid and my mouth fead.

I did that on Sunday when I was throwing something away in a grocery store garbage can only it was one of those garbage cans with the door flap on a spring and the spring snapped back and caught my finger. Hurt like a mofo. I have a really dark but pretty small bruise right above my finger nail on the finger that was caught.

I am icky. Blah. A while back when Dr. McScaryPants was giving me the scariest (false) news of my life, a chapel guy came in my room and asked if I wanted him to pray with me. I have hospital anxieties and prayer anxieties and stranger anxieties, so instead of saying no I just stared at him horrified and when he started to come in I started to cry. He took that as a let's go prayer sign and took my arm and prayed with me. I don't deal with people touching me. I mean, I really can't. I don't even remember much that happened after that except at some point my friend Ray called and I asked him to help me and he did. So that guy stopped in just now to "apologize", and then preceded to talk in a hushed voice like there might be spies and tell me that he doesn't think I didn't want to pray, he thinks Ray didn't want me to pray. If I ever should need to pray I shouldn't be afraid to call him because I am safe here. What an asshole. I don't know why that makes me so angry but it really does.
