What a difference fifteen minutes can make. There I was, happily contemplating a relatively quiet weekend, when -- bam! -- all hell broke loose on a vessel I'm representing. It looks like I'll have to earn my salary the next few days.

At least it's not a real holiday weekend in my book. Sunday will just be another damn Sunday, and I'll be drinking Greek coffee on a vessel while the Coast Guard crawls up the Captain's ass to examine his tonsils.

Just finished 2 weeks straight and now I have the first holiday I've had in almost two years.
I get one week and my ex has decided to take my daughter away on holidays for that entire week.
I'm have no idea what's made her angry enough to pull this stunt on me.
This is going to be tough to push past.
I try very hard to get on with this woman but she is so dislikeable. At least to me.
What a kick in the teeth this is. :-(

I just listened to the latest Steve Shives video, I highly recommend it if you want a good laugh! It's the second in his latest series where he dismantles stupid apologist books. The absolute mind-blowing projection, dishonesty and cluelessness of the author is something of an art form here. Listen to Steve kick the shit out of this fuckwit. It is an absolute straw man fest, literally. A whole chapter talking strawmen is in here, describing exactly what techniques the author himself is using.

Moved out from under the same room as our dumbass landlord. As if selling our home out from under us without nearly enough notice wasn't bad enough- and parading realtors through the place to rub it in, because "thinking about" selling the place apparently means "am currently most of the way through the process of"- he saw fit to harass us day in and day out because Luckie wouldn't start taking some woo woo miracle pill bullshit to cure her Crohns; nobody is allowed to disagree with the guy, apparently. Pretty sure he was actually selling the stuff; he sure as hell sent a saleswoman to see us, under the false pretense that she was a cured patient. We saw right through her, and the clinical trials showed the placebo effect had a statistically significant higher success rate than the pill (lest we be labeled close minded) but apparently nothing short of total submission to what he wants will do, else Luckie's "choosing to be sick." So we told him to fuck off and left; we're staying with family until we can find a place of our own.

Oh, and this piece of shit doesn't feed his goddamn cats, either; they've been out of food for two days before we fed them, probably more since they stay out all weekend.   Animal neglect is too damn much.
