Remember last year, I posted in here about an ex I had broken up with, who kept bothering me? He still is bothering me. lol Big Grin Changed my phone number a while back after he and I broke up, and deleted an email account he had. But, today I received a card in the mail from him. I never thought I'd get over this guy, but when I opened the card, I felt nothing...felt like ...who is this? It is a good feeling to finally let go, and it doesn't make me feel good that he hasn't let go. Because I know that this is all just another feeble attempt on his part, to get me back into his head games again. He doesn't want me back, just wants the games back. I think what amazes me about people like him is that they never tire of the game.

Time to have some dinner shortly. Thank you for listening. Heart

If he was the one who instigated the break up then it wouldn't be until the new relationship ended that he would feel any regrets about letting you go.  As you say, once you understand he was user then there is no reason to expect anything else now.

Sitting here, cruising the forums, listening to the new Alabama Shakes album. Sometimes new artists get super popular because they are so good at their art, and then they go overboard trying to capture the 'art' again, instead of sticking to their guns. I'm trying to decide if this album is an instance of that.
