Decompressing from my workout at SDSU and grocery shopping at Vons. Things were either really good or really bad today. Not much middle ground. Most of my days are middle ground.

Oh shit! When did their new album come out? I heard two new tunes on SNL. I wasn't that impressed, but I figured they would grow on me like their last album did. Hold On was the first song I heard, which wasn't very soul, so it was surprising that a big chunk of the album ended up being soul, and the whole damn thing grew on me.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay." For context, this is the previous verse: "Hi Jesus" -robvalue

It's called Sound & Color. Overall it's okay, I've listened to it three times, and I like a couple of songs. I can already tell it's not an album that I can just press play on like their last album. I've traded them for some James Morrison in lieu of listening to the intermission report of the Pens game.

Aw that's kind of a bummer. I guess they can't all be winners. I'll still give it an honest try anyhow. Saw them in Cleveland last year and she's incredible.

Changed my phone number a while back after he and I broke up, and deleted an email account he had. But, today I received a card in the mail from him. I never thought I'd get over this guy, but when I opened the card, I felt nothing...felt like ...who is this? It is a good feeling to finally let go, and it doesn't make me feel good that he hasn't let go. Because I know that this is all just another feeble attempt on his part, to get me back into his head games again. He doesn't want me back, just wants the games back. I think what amazes me about people like him is that they never tire of the game.
