Just back from the third (and final) site walk for our third project; gotta haul ass to get drawings input by tomorrow because I'll be out again all day tomorrow...
My foot is hurting, my calves are hurting, I want to take a nap and vacationitis has struck so I'm not feeling productive.

It's the season finale of survivor tonight! On the one hand I'm really excited to see if Stephen made it on to next season. On the other hand, I'm not at all excited about who might win this season. And I'm generally sad that my favorite show will be going off air for like 4 months...

Thanks girl, appreciate that.

Look what my daughter and I made today! I know, it's not a great pic (bad BG color to photograph them on), and some of them are a bit kooky looking, but hey, they are made out of chopsticks, hot glue and paint, and a (nearly) 8 year old did a lot of the design and painting.
My attempt at making the Elder Wand out of hot glue turned out a bit lumpier than I hoped, but still interesting looking at least.

Her birthday is in 2 weeks, and she's having a Harry Potter themed party. Being non-traditional, we are letting her help plan her own party and help make the party favors for her friends. I think they are pretty cool. I keep wanting to pick them up and cast spells on my cat.....

Looking at all the #ThanksDave tweets. I didn't stay up. I can't do that anymore. I like his voice, and the general format of his show, but it was on too late. Also, at timesoflate, he has seemed a bit burned out. Nevertheless, it's done, and I'm a bit captivated by hislong tenure, and the transition that he is thrust upon now. Transition is always a bit hard for me, even though it's universal.
Survivor has definitely been good. I am eager for the next. I really with, as with Big Brother, there were no off-period. I'm liking TV less and less.

Trying really really really hard not to scratch my left ribs. Mostly failing.

Don't worry, my friend. If this be the end, then so shall it be.
