Be glad you don't live a little further down the valley. The prediction here is 106F.
Holy fuck! I can count the number of times it's been 106 here on one finger. And with your humidity (no, not as bad as the south, but still way worse than what we get), dayum. I'm so glad I live where humidity is something that (almost) never affects how the temperature feels and triple digit days are exceedingly rare.

It's actually been quite dry the last couple of days. Yesterday was 14% humidity.

14% is well outside "normal" for you guys though. Plus, at sea level it takes far more water vapor in the air to even get to a specific percentage than it does at 5280.
Don't get me wrong. It's not the sunny days (humid or not) I ever had a problem with in the PacNW (west of the Cascades at least). It was all those cloudy ones. A completely overcast day here (one where the sun never breaks through) is not a rare occurrence. Three of them in a row is. Very rare.

I hear you. FWIW, I'll take 104 and dry over 90 and humid any day.

Hell yeah! I could see circumstances in which I would live in the deep south again, but there are very few. High six figures, higher six figures, low seven figures...

oh, good, someone else saw the 106 temp... I thought the thermostat in my car had broken. At one point on my drive home it read 107...

I've never experienced heat without humidity. They're synonymous.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

The difference is dramatic. Air isn't a great conductor of heat but water is, so in low humidity you can be outside a lot longer before you really begin to get hot. Add to that that when you sweat in high humidity you just get sticky and uncomfortable, but if you sweat in low humidity it evaporates and cools you off. In low humidity shade is much cooler, in high humidity shade provides little comfort. Finally, in low humidity you can expect it to get much cooler at night and stay cooler longer in the morning. It's 105 out there right now and it'll get down into the low 60s tonight.
I've backpacked in the nineties in New Mexico and Colorado and still been happy to be outside, but you couldn't pay me to do that in the 90s in the South and Midwest.

Plus, swamp coolers work excellently in low humidity areas while they just stir the wet air around in places like Mississippi.

Can't sleep
I'm wide awake during the night and asleep all day
I feel like a frozen pizza
So hungry
My hair is growing out quite long now, shouldn't be long before I can tie it back
He pulled it so hard the other day though I'm worried it's going to come out in clumps.
