I almost went out to see Irrational Man, but the soccer nerd in me won over. MLS All-Stars at 6:00pmish. Portland Thorns women's soccer in what would be a relegation battle in other countries.
Good workout today, but rather muggy.

So I'm updating the software on my phone and backing it up before I get a new one.

I hate this country.
I want to leave.
I want to live in a country where they speak a pretty language and where the guys aren't cavemen.
I want to scream
Come to Portugal.
I keep telling you people this, but our politicians keep sending our guys away!

I actually would consider Portugal. The Southern European aesthetic really appeals to me, which isn't exactly surprising given I'm half Maltese myself

On Sporcle, memorizing the flags of the world. I've got the small continents (North America, South America, and Oceania) down pat; it's going to take a while for the big ones now.
For those who don't know about it, http://www.sporcle.com is the best quiz site on the web. There are quizzes about anything and everything. And I do mean practically everything; they're user-generated, and the website currently lists over 250,000 quizzes that have been played a combined 1.6 billion times. Completely free, super easy to use, keeps track of stats, you can play any quiz at any time.
I play Sporcle constantly, and have already used it to memorize the countries and capitals of the world, the periodic table, books of the bible, and a few other things. Next on my list of things to memorize is 1) British PMs, 2) Popes, and 3-a lot) populous cities of various countries

Don't worry, my friend. If this be the end, then so shall it be.

The child is well and we are safely home.
