In America, it's 8 billion for, what, 320 million? So, 25 per person.

I can say, as an estimate, I probably contribute to the death of at least 200 chickens per year.  I would estimate I eat maybe 400 chicken wings (so, that's at least 100 chickens right there) in a year, plus many other grilled sammich-type products.  My personal chicken death total might be nearing 300 or 400 annually.

I don't eat chicken every day but I must eat some part of a chicken at least 4 times a week... not sure how many whole chickens that amounts to a year

Apparently, not...

You know there's certain culinary themes that seem to transcend most cultures, roasting chicken seems to be one of them. I would have thought that fried chicken would be eaten just about everywhere. It's that good.

I'm a super picky eater, and even I like fried chicken. Dipped in BBQ sauce...mmmm....
