Listening to music while doing everyday stuff
My two-monitor set up at work crapped out last week and I just got it back!! It's amazing how quickly I got used to only one monitor so having my second one back is giving me monitor overload

Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
Watching a "scary" movie set in a church. There's an evil spirit that can only be stopped by spray on insulation and fire extinguishers. Lolz best movie ever.
Got my cores drilled and my minimum density target set. Now I'm just chilling in my truck listening to Hozier, and texting mom for updates on Grandma's heart surgery. She got a second opinion from Cleveland Clinic and they popped a pace maker in and now she's getting a some sort of bypass or replacement, people haven't been real clear. But this is a far cry from her first opinion which was "There's nothing we can do."
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay." For context, this is the previous verse: "Hi Jesus" -robvalue (September 14, 2015 at 12:37 pm)Exian Wrote: Got my cores drilled and my minimum density target set. Even if they think there may be nothing they can do, it doesn't mean they won't try. Hope all goes well with her!

Lolz best movie ever. I love crappy B-movies. Do you like zombies? If yes, I can recommend two fairly recent low-budget zombie flicks, both of which were filmed here in Canada. One is called "Pontypool" which has the hilarious premise that the zombie condition...in this case, a virus...is passed along through "infected words" in the English language. this is hilarious in Canada, because of the long-standing tension between Anglophones and Francophones. Hopefully the humour won't be lost on non-Canadians. In the movie, French-Canadians have to come to the rescue, because French isn't infected...only English is. LOL Another one is called "Warm Bodies" and it was filmed, city skyline and everything, in my beloved Montréal. It's basically a Romeo & Juliet story, but I won't tell you how they skewed the ending, but Romeo is a zombie.....and Juliet is a living, normal human. John Malkovich is in it, and so is Rob Corddry (he is hilarious....he played "Lou" in Hot Tub Time Machine). I really enjoyed it. |
