Going back to college on an actual campus at 30 is fucking fascinating.

My first college experience was so heterogenous. Everybody was a varsity athlete, 4.0 student, 1300+ SATs, student government blah blah blah. Alpha party + military brainwashing = bro broth.

Now, there are so many types of people. On Fridays I have an hour between classes. I sit in the student lounge that looks over the commons. Between classes all these kids are walking by. Blows my mind. A fat kid just rolled by on a 3 wheel sit down razor scooter. All the kids have penny boards and those little Segway mini-boards to get to and from class, and they dress in all sorts of styles. I love it. I try to get work done, but I am people watching and forum surfing instead...
