I try to get work done, but I am people watching and forum surfing instead...
You guys are a bad influence. 
I actually love the variety. The very word "University" means to "to find unity in diversity". It's really a cross-cultural, species ingrained search. To find Unity in Diversity. On our coins, "E Pluribus Unum" meaning, "out of many, one". In our language, the "quintessence". Science looking for the "unifying theory". I find it fascinating.
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.

Just finished dinner (leftover fried rice), all the animals are fed, watching Angels & Demons (which I can't take seriously because of Ewan McGregor), and contemplating whether the dog is going to keep me up barking tonight, or whether the cats will wake me up (and keep me up) at 3am.

Just had an ex-girlfriend call me.
She gets drunk and horny, rings me, tells me what she'd like to do, then gets all guilty (she's married), tells me it could never be and practically hangs up on me.
I barely get a word in.
This happens once a year and has been going on for five years.
I might not answer it next year, I think. :-)

Might as well answer. It's at least an ego boost. This girl just can't quit you. That's how irresistible you are.
