It's normal to feel the way you do. Birthdays and anniversaries are powerful triggers and can make you feel like you feel like you're back at square one in the grieving process, even if your loved one died many years ago. It's horribly painful, but not uncommon.
Some people find comfort in remembering, but for some it just makes the grief even more unbearable. It might be best to attempt to distract yourself as much as possible and keep yourself extremely busy, until the worst of this passes. If you find that your pain hasn't subsided closer to its previous level after her birthday has passed, you may need to get some outside help in getting through this. There's nothing wrong with that, either.
This absolutely sucks, to the highest degree Stimbo. I'm sorry you're going through it.

Scored a win on Ebay this afternoon.
It was a weird electronic gizmo, from a seller I had done business with before. The auction had garnered some interest in the week prior, I was getting a little concerned quite a few were watching the item and it was going to get pricey. Also, Sunday afternoon, quite a few folks have time to be on Ebay and post those high bids in the last 10 seconds of the auction. Out in my rural wasteland, I'm a little skittish about bidding in the last 30 seconds since it usually results in my having a drop out in the internet signal, or my wonky laptop decides it want's to take a couple minutes to go do some weird housekeeping function at the wrong time.
Anyhow, before the 30 second mark, bid enough to get in the lead, and then dropped a big max bid (over triple where we were at that time) in the auction and then just had to sit back and watch the dust settle.
Got the gadget for 1/2 my max bid, which was a huge relief, I really wanted the thing, and was a little brash in setting the max bid.
In the end, I think the rarity of the device, in this auction at least, really helped. I've seen related (but not identical) gadgets go for quite a chunk of change, but since the seller didn't put too many key words in the description, I think quite a few of the nerds into this kind of thing were not bidding on it.
LOL, unlike some of the crap I'm collecting, this thing I can actually use.
Now if I could just find an NTSC region 1 DVD collection of . . .

I normally eat less than that but that fry up looks so nice I could two or three plates of that

It's a good thing for some people that respiration is involuntary.
If they had to remember to breathe they'd be too dumb to do it.

After every single one of my surgeries, my O2 Sats are so low for hours because I, for some reason, will not breathe. Nurses have to come over and tell me to breathe. I do not know why I do this.

Asthma patients have been known to breathe too weakly when supplied with oxygen, because their body switches from CO2 as a trigger to O2... but that mainly causes problems with blood acidity, strange...

Jesus fucking christ.
Put a note to the seller on the Ebay ordertelling him I wished he had 2 of the gadgets.
Guess what ?
He does, I'm getting both of them.
He's setting up another auction for #2, and putting a BIN or MO on it. Shouldn't be too hard to swing this.
I could poo myself with joy right now.

Trying to find a good album to listen to. I mean god damn, it shouldn't be this difficult. I just listened to a three way split album between twinsistermoon, isengrind, and natural snow buildings called the snowbringer cult. It was sort of like a free improvisational folk album. I only listened to the twinsistermoon and isengrind parts though. It was a really good album, I would go and try to find really interesting music like this locally. I did find a band like this once called josh abrahm's natural information society, but the crowd there made me really uncomfortable. I talked with a couple of the people at the show and it was really awkward. I may try to check the concert promoter's facebook again or something to see if they're hosting anything interesting. Odds are they're playing at the club where this guy I hate who removed me from facebook works, so I can't go and see shows if it's there.
