I wonder...are pork chops a good substitute for bacon? I ask because I have a couple chops in the oven right now, yet all I can think about is bacon...

Pan seared, then oven baked. I'm over the bacon, BTW. They were delicious pork chops.

I read it as a good, entertaining fake. I never even considered there might other options. Unless it's really real, obviously.

But kids drawings and writings are so hard to fake. Or maybe I've seen too many horror movies.
ETA: on second thought, probably bribed a kid to draw the entire thing.

That's what made me think it was a very good one, by a very talented artist or a kid with a very vivid imagination. Mind you, you haven't seen my handwriting. Even I can't read it.

Samuel Smith's oatmeal stout and Patron XO cafe. I couldn't wait to get home to eat the sushi I bought. So I didn't. I inhaled the whole order between Snelling and Cleveland avenues on the #16 bus, washed it down with spring water, and listened to the melodious sounds of a mother shouting at her young son to get him to stop staring at me.
