Reading that the Washington Post has named Portland the best food city in America.

Getting frustrated with my sewing machine. I really have no idea why, years ago, I invested in this thing. I miss my simple, boring machine. This one is too complicated for no good reason, it's messing with me, and I only have a couple of presents left to finish with no more time off work this week. Grrrrr.

Dr check up for the youngest.
Going to my mom's today. We aren't close. I used to try, but it was clear that wasn't what she wanted. All if a sudden the last couple of years she has been wanting to get closer and I'm the one not intrested. Fool me once, and all that. I was fooled most of my life. It sucks because I do like her husband, but I think he is kind of pissed about me not calling back right away, etc. Or it is my guilty conscience. So it is stressful, to top it off with me taking my oldest son, they had a falling out years ago with, and haven't spoken and bringing his girlfriend because he wants them to meet her. Listening to Augustana, getting ready to get a haircut. I have a lot to do before the last night of work. I haven't started packing yet. I changed my erl yesterday, so that's done.
Gotta give Tanner a bath and trim his nails (which is literally the ONLY thing he gets pissy about.) Can't have a doggy smelling dog in the car for 13 hours. He's got a big bison knuckle to gnaw on the whole time, so that'll keep him busy. Said goodbye to my lady last night... won't see her for 2 weeks almost....
