CD: Sorry to hear about the meds not being enough to help you.  What are your optiobs?  As an outpatient are you able to get in touch with someone to get something better?

I don't know. I'm not doing anything tonight. I tried getting in touch with the attending via the inpatient facility, no dice. He happens to also work at the outpatient program I'm in, I might see him monday. I know he has a private practice and I'm hoping he'll take me on as a patient because he's a fucking rock star as a psychiatrist in my book.

But I don't have any kind of prescriber at the moment, and I also know that urgent care was reluctant to give me any benzodiazepines at all two weeks ago - and hello, that's what works for severe anxiety. They did give me 5 xanax, though.

I still have some hydroxyzine (an antihistamine that has anxiolytic and sedative properties) but I don't know about interactions.

I'm kind of fucked until Monday at best unless I want to go to the emergency room.

This country is a fucked up place to be if you happen to need benzos or opiates and you don't happen to be dying.

Cant sleep. It's three in the fucking morning.

I found out today my short-disabilty insurer will almost certainly approve my claim, and that it is extremely unlikely that I will be cleared to return to work until February.

I expected that having the pressure from work relieved would give me some relief.

I appreciate the support from everyone. I have to be sounding like a broken record.
