Downloaded a cheezy 90's disaster flick from Amazon called "Final Descent".

Hell week, anyone else???

My entry-

-My father died.
-I believe my mother has Alzeimer's now, on top of congestive heart failure and diabetes.
-The weather kept me stuck at my in-laws for a whole day, limiting my time to deal with my dad's personal effects.
-My wife, alongside her sister ,and my eldest boy made my father's passing a fucking circus of follies. Supportive and respecting wishes? Nah! Screw that! (But I'm the asshole...feh).
-My wife and I may now be calling it quits. (Prolly shouldn't smile at this.)
-My wife's antitheft shite on her car went active in Virginia, stranding us for two hours.
-Thanks to the above, and rollback tow trucks not being taxis, my kids, dogs and I walked three miles alongside the highway in 20° temperatures to link back up with her.
- I was only really fucking drunk once through all this.

The only good news the past week held was my brother's firstborn was born healthy(and blissfully not on his due date....the day his grandfather died).

One for the record books, methinks. Sigh.

Oh, to illustrate my humor...after picking up our father's ashes, my brother and I hatched a plan to forge a miracle. We would stop by the local catholic church, tape a copy of my dad's obit on the outdoor Virgin Mary statue then bust pop's ash box all over the place. When the parishoners noticed and inevitibly asked 'What dick did this?', they'd see the obituary clipping and voila!.....a miracle! (Dad's name was Dick.) :p

Enjoying a cup of coffee and the warmth of being inside. I didn't dress warmly enough for the hour spent waiting in 10-15 F weather, specifically wearing stockings and low risers rather than boots. Oh well, live and do stupid shit and never learn. After I relax a bit, I'll plan the final cleaning and organization tasks for tomorrow. Kicking back....
