What's everyone up to right now?

I'm sort of wondering whether or not to worry about an unidentified colleague who steals things from my tray. I left a strip of Tranexamic Acid tablets in my tray, from which I have taken 3 tablets. Today I noticed there are now 5 gone from the pack. I can only assume whoever took them assumed they were painkillers (since they aren't anything you can get high on, they just help your blood clot) and just helped themselves, but if they have taken 2 of them, I worry about the side effects they might get from that.... But part of me thinks it serves them right for A) stealing from colleagues, and B) Taking medication without checking what it is.

That's kind of freaky... I mean, you shouldn't steal people's stuff, but the guy probably doesn't deserve a stroke because of it. I assume a medication which causes clots could also cause stroke. Do you know who did it? It might be a good idea to talk to that person and warn them!

I would report the situation to your supervisor immediately. That's a dangerous situation, and it's above your pay grade to deal with it. Turn the matter over to your superiors. That's the responsible thing to do, imho.

I dunno who it was and I've decided not to care. There are no potentially fatal side effects or any risk of stroke, so that's not a concern. I hope it makes them feel like shit. That'll teach 'em!

I think my team leaders would have the same attitude as me. They were talking about catching out the office thief a while ago by planting orange juice spiked with laxatives in the fridge a while back. It obviously never happened, because it would have been wrong, but that's how they feel about whoever does this shit.

I've got about 20 gigabytes of images of paintings and fine art to go through and select a percentage for my wall mount TV / digital wall art. Or maybe I'll just dump the 20 gigs there and explore it each time I pick a new painting to display on the device. I've got a Raspberry Pi that I intend to hook to the TV, and that's a much more appealing task than sorting through thousands of pictures. IIRC, Android is ported to the Pi, I think that's what I'll use.

Okay. I spent a little time figuring it out and successfully installed the push-pin mounting heatsink. I still hate the sons of bitches, and Intel for using such a gay ass mounting system.

Glarg. It's the day of the revenge of the island of misplaced toys. I've got two 1 GB sticks of DDR2, and two 1/2 GB sticks of DDR - the machine I'm building will take either - and I can't find either set of memory sticks. This htpc / dnla server I'm prototyping is a more frustrating project than I anticipated. It's all previously used gear, it should just assemble itself, practically. But nooooo....
