Recorded another video, but damn, I look more stupid in it than intended. I have a load of toothpaste smeared on my shorts, which looks bad... I don't know how it happens. I create mess everywhere.

I think I can safely speak for the membership as a whole when I say that we would not be averse to seeing you with a load of toothpaste smeared on your shorts.  That sort of thing humanizes a moderator in a way that little else does.

Had a stupid argument about 23 and Me last night with my parents.  They're convinced that if they do it that 23 and Me will sell their DNA to "The Government" and when I asked them what "The Government" was going to do with their DNA they couldn't come up with a single answer - not even a completely stupid one like make a clone of them to send on Government espionage missions.

My dad was all concerned that if he did 23 and Me then "The Government" would have half of my genetic markers then, too, so I told him it would be the same thing in reverse if I did it: they'd have half of his markers.  And then he told me not to do it so "The Government" couldn't track him!

I mean, really....  WTF?

There's a time and a place to freak about about stuff, and then there's doing a reasonable thing like reading a company's privacy statement to actually see what they will do with you information and donation before you go and make idiotic assumptions.

Have either of my parents read their bank's privacy statements?  No.
Have either of my parents read Facebook's privacy statements?  No.
What about iTunes'? No.
Or Google's because they have phones with a Google OS?

No, no, no, no, no.
