What's everyone up to right now?

Got two games on Steam for a couple of pounds; Lucius, Lucius 2.
Started the first one. The objective is to basically play as the son of the devil as he discreetly kills off the household one by one in novel ways. Its alright. Having trouble enjoying it. Its not that the games bad, my heart just isn't in it. It fills me with no satisfaction or excitement. Every game I find seems to warrant some type of killing in one form or another ranging from the tame to the gruesome and now I am finally numb to it. It bores me. I'm hoping that "The Forest" will be finished in the not too distant future. The idea of building some type of online settlement where people can have brief respite from mutants then continue on their journey is appealing. A place where players can resupply, form scouting parties that work toward the communities survival and struggle against a common enemy. To build that and make it work would seem more of an achievement than anything current games offer. It would be something I could watch grow and evolve instead of just mindlessly slaughter. Theres nothing really like that out there right now. Thats sad.

My mother told me tonight that she's not going to vote in the presidential election this year "because the election is always decided by the time Oregon votes are being counted anyway"

Well shit. I lost internet but I can get the mobile site here on my phone. This is disturbing.
Never mind. I think my computer just experienced a hiccup. Disclaimer: I am only responsible for what I say, not what you choose to understand.
Facebooking. Learning that "vaguebooking" is a thing. NPRing.

Considering running ethernet in my house. I have gigabit, but am limited by the wi-fi. I am getting ~300 Mbps over the 5GHz WiFi signal, which is more than enough. But paying for 1Gbps and getting a third of that to my bomb ass computer just irks me.
Plus, it's a cool project.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Tried going to the bathroom unassisted. One of the cats said NO. Apparently he needs to watch.

Once you know the where and when, and the moving company is taken care of, maybe there'll be renewed energy to box your stuff. Even for me who has no severe psychiatric problems, the unknown factor in such matters is hard to bear (like when we had to change states, had no apartment and I had no job), but if you're anything like me, your outlook on life is going to improve 1000% once you know the details.

Still waiting on my tax refund from the IRS. Does anyone happen to know how long it takes if it was filed electronically?
