Procrastinating about cleaning the house

Just got word that our office is closing down for the day due to severe weather advisories in our area, including possible tornadoes. I feel like a kid who just learned school was shut down for a snow day. LOL

Now what to do with my unexpected freedom, aside from hunker down?

Invade Poland.

Since invading Poland has long been a dream of mine, I thought your suggestion was excellent. I thought my wife would agree. Alas.

At the height of the storm, I stood up and dramatically shouted, "Baby, it's time we mount up and get some serious Blitzkrieg action going. I have a Pole or two to destroy before this is over!"

I don't know why, but she called me a callous asshole. The thunder partially obscured what came next, but I think it was something about stupidity and bad timing. I'll have to ask her when she unlocks the bedroom.

Guy's an arrogant arsehole who thinks he knows better than his doctor.

Guy got quite upset when I told him he needed surgery.

My official diagnosis was given in front of the patient. My unofficial suggestion to his doctor after he left, "Euthanised with an axe".

That got a smile.
