Meanwhile, Emergency Backup Cat #2 is back on the ottoman, asleep.
I've taken to giving him a poke every once in a while so he can demonstrate proof of life. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Six ceramic brushes, one dozen rat tail combs, one dozen cutting combs, four heat resistant combs, one ergonomic hair pic, one ergonomic wide tooth comb, a box of 720 bobby pins, two nail files, one bottle of nail polish, 8 alligator clips, one child-size cape, one adult cape with cute moustaches on them, a 3 in 1 diffuser for my blow dryer and a 1 3/4" ceramic curling iron and a guest info and contact book.

Soccer nerding. Just watched Seattle Sounders lose 1-0 to Sporting KC. Earlier I watched split-screen coverage of maybe 5 other Major League Soccer matches (it's MLS Kickoff day. First day of the season.). Forgot about the Republican debate, so I am watching the tail end of that right now.
Haven't enjoyed the rain.
