Also, had a dream that Mt. St. Helens erupted.
It did erupt. (Quite a while back, mind you! )
I should have clarified that it was currently erupting in the dream
Then, as my emergency evac location, I went to dream-work (which is very different than my IRL office) and had a conference on a topic unrelated to the on-going eruption in a room with floating furniture... ??

It's a prophecy! And it came true, too!
I do have prophetic dreams from time to time, yes Be careful what you wish for, tho, because you were in this dream and got stuck in Portland because of the eruption - and subsequently had to sit through the boring conference on the floating furniture. And before you go saying you wouldn't mind being stuck here, keep in mind that this conference was so boring that even floating furniture didn't make it more interesting.
In other news, I got a new rug for my bathroom so I can close the door without having to lift up the rug, cram myself in a corner and swing the door shut! It's the little things in life that can make you the happiest

hmmmm.... boring meeting, but be with you... I've been in many a boring meeting in my time... be with you... sadly, never.
So, I guess I can endure one to get the reward

Who needs to run from an eruption when you can sit on said floating furniture!

Just dropped the tail shaft to pull the third member.
Ratio going from 3.25 to 3.7 to 1.
Now that the new tranny has OD, I could do with the better acceleration down low.

I know the feeling. I feel like I need to give my brain a running start sometimes, then it runs out of steam just as it was getting going.
It usually comes to me later.

The day has come.
I gave my tenant, despite my lawyer's advice and because I liked him, until the end of the month to find a new place. One caveat: he cannot drink in my house at all. I told him, with a witness, that if I caught him drinking, he would have until 10pm to have all of his stuff out of my house.
Cut to tonight, he stumbles out of the bathroom, yelling on the phone to his friend, and he can barely walk to his room.
He's pulling out all the stops: emotional blackmail (your mom was an alcoholic, would you kick her out?), minimizing (I only messed up twice!), blaming (why are you doing this to me?), attacking (you are an asshole!), and passive aggressive behavior (telling his friend loudly on the phone where he was stationed when in the Marine Corps 15 years ago.)
I'm done. I created a boundary, it took him less than a week to violate it. I'll fulfill my end of the contract.

The genesis of the original ultimatum is that he got drunk and drove, hit someone's car and fled the scene, pulled into my driveway, and tried to back out over the person that he hit who followed him here.
Then, he swung on the cop that tried to arrest him. Since the accident report was generated in my driveway, his cheap ass cut rate car insurance might refuse to pay, in which case my homeowners insurance will be on the hook. My lawyer told me to get him out ASAP. I didn't feel good about kicking him out then and there, so I told him he had until the end of the month to find another place. One caveat: he cannot drink at all in my house. He agreed and said he'd do whatever it takes.
Now we're at the whatever it takes.
