What's everyone up to right now?

I'm just not comfortable yet with my family and some old friends knowing. I'm hoping that my continued disinterest in going to church and discussing religion with them will gradually give them idea that I'm at least more much more "liberal" than I used to be.

Yeah, I can appreciate that, especially given some of the horror stories we hear around here.

Bored. Looks like I crashed rationalia.com with my picture. Nothing to do but wait until my sisters pick me up for Christmas dinner.

Just decided we're not having dinner today. I got loads of food in yesterday after changing my mind and deciding I would cook after all. On the way home from visiting our Grandad my sister decided to go all stroppy with me and threw a tantrum in the middle of Camden High Street because I was walking slow (I get pain in my left knee when I walk for a long time since I did the Shine Walk in September, and it slows me down). Then we got home she started giving me attitude and when I said I was gonna start cooking dinner I got a moody "Whatever. I don't care." In response so fuck it. I don't care how hungry I am after not eating all day, I'm just gonna have some crisps. If she wants dinner she can fucking cook it for once in her fucking life.

I think Jacob gave me his cold. My nose was running on and off yesterday. Today it's worse.

All done - guests gone - house still looks a bit like the aftermath of a hurricane but we'll deal with that tomorrow.

Last night's dinner party (all my own work) passed without a hitch but they came rather late and stayed until rather early.

This morning started at 7. Wife was a complete trouper and did the lion's share today.

Looks like we'll be living on left overs till Sunday when we'll head off to Manchester to see my family.

Contemplating round two of "The Grandkiddies" ..... Looks like it is afternoon nibbles and alcohol, sugary drinks, death by chocolate cake, chippies (crisps) and dips. So carrots and celery MIGHT get trotted out. : P
