Realizing that I have to pack up my apartment and go buy a number of things that a homeowner needs that ended up in my ex's possession along with our former house - things like a freaking lawnmower, window coverings, etc etc etc. I start moving in 3 weeks.

Congratulations on the house, CD. I know what you mean about buying necessities, I needed to put a note on my old apartment door but I don't have a scrap of paper that survived the purge.

Watching TV and relaxing. I'm glad the weekend is here. No more construction noise for two whole days.

I wrote what I wanted to say and it felt good to get it off my chest. I then backspaced all of it and replaced it with this.  Angel

Also petting my cat with my foot.

Also feeling tired. Worked long hours and will be working tomorrow. Doesn't feel like Friday.

Normally, I would make my own with chicken broth or veggie broth, butter, salt, pepper, milk, cheddar, fresh broccoli, and a tiny bit of flour. Sadly, I got my ass kicked at work today and didn't feel up to cooking when I got home. Went to Whole Foods and got a teeny, weeny overpriced 6 oz. cup instead.

Very good. But mine is Beddar.
