The spaghetti might have turned. I ate the very last of it, and it tasted alright, but I had to pour some water off it, so I'm pretty sure i introduced some new friends to my intestinal fauna. They don't seem to be getting along and my stomach is in knots.

I haven't been to Spain in over 10 years. It might be my favorite place in the world. Playa de la Malagueta in Malaga might just be my most favorite beach in the world. A quick search tells me tickets are only $1300!

I've never been to Spain proper, only Barcelona (Barca is "Spain" but the locals will slap you for saying it)
I like the culture of Spain and the history is interesting, but I'd be tempted to avoid the major tourist beach resorts. The kind of British people that tend to flock there get on my nerves.

Guys... Forget Spain. Those dudes sound like they speak Arabic.
Portugal is where you want to go!
We sound like Russian.

I'm down with Portugal. I've been to Spain, never to Portugal. Where's the spot that the locals go to vacay?
I need beaches in order to properly replenish.

Best water temperature would be right in the South, a region called Algarve... Most sandy beach there would be in a town called Portimão.
Expect tourists...lots of them.
Or go a bit further north and find "river beaches"... Much quieter... Much more picturesque...

Ooh, I can go to Puerto Rico for pretty cheap around my birthday. Who wants to go with?

I was looking at Algarve. And Cascais. Around my birthday would cost around $2500. Not too bad.
