Somewhere in Glasgow.

Not telling you exactly where, obviously.  Tongue

Holy shit Sad

I remember when there were some murders quite near where I used to live in Suffolk.

Listening to Pearl Django.

Today I have been mostly learning about...

Depreciation. Seems pretty straightforward. Stuff gets knackered.

I heard gunshots in the distance a few weeks ago. I live off the back of a very rough estate full of shenanigans

The district of Birmingham I live in apparently has one of the highst crime rates, but it's mostly petty crime, anti-social behaviour.

We've had a few shootings in Glasgow over the years, and we had quite a few kneecappings a little while back. But thankfully they weren't as close to me as that murder I mentioned was.

This one was just some poor woman murdered in her house.

A cowardly murder then, lovely. I hope they get caught double time

The neighbourhood I lived in at university was sketchy as fuck as well. There were several reports of opportunist rape in the alleyways behind the houses, a female student from the uni got murdered by an old pervert stalker, and the nearby park was a definite no-go zone after dark. Gangs.

Of course the university, instead of trying to do shit about it, brushed it under the carpet so as not to scare off potential students.

They will get caught eventually, they always usually do. People are suspecting it could be an ex partner or something.

In your case, there's not really much the university can do so it's unfair to blame them. That's for the cops to deal with.

As for being single / in a relationship, it seems to be the golden rule for me that whichever is not the case has a "grass is greener" kind of appeal. I sometimes fantasise about being single, even though I was absolutely miserable when I was last single; and I'd probably top myself without Emma. My stupid fucking brain.

It represents the member's reputation. More points, more stars Big Grin I'm guessing some sort of logarithmic relationship.

They really have nothing to do with your rep, but more your "Member Level" after posts/time.
I think 1 star = Newbie
2 stars = Junior Member
3 stars = Member
4 stars = Senior Member

After so many posts, you top out at five stars and your default user title changes to "Posting Freak." Mods get 6 stars, Admins get 7.

I'm pretty sure it was something that Tibs set up in 2008 and has totally forgotten about.

Nah, I'm pretty sure it's an awesomeness rating, which explains why I have seven and you only have six. Tongue
