I played my first graded game of chess last night in about 15 years! I've had to apply for a new grade as my old one is unidentifiable.
We were playing 1h 15min each for the first 35 moves, then an extra 15min to finish. It went pretty close to the wire. I played black, used the French Defence, and managed to get a draw. I was very surprised and pleased with this. I am rusty so I may have missed some opportunities. I have a record of the moves if anyone is interested. I tried doing a video recording the moves on a physical board but I couldn't get it to show up very well. Feel free to send me a private message.

I'm not usually a fan of the sickeningly sweet bottled stuff, but I thought the watermelon sounded good on that one. I'm a red wine, craft beer type of gale for the most part.

At work, after working till 9 last night and staying up late. Of well, already 2 1/2 hours into my day. Feeling a bit wheezy and congested.
