Waiting for the surgery to call me back.

I had a health check they are offering to everyone at my "stage of life". I came out with a strong heart, relatively 2 years younger than I am, and low risk of any cardiovascular problems.

My potassium was a bit low, so I'm having a follow up blood test. My blood pressure was a little high, so I'm waiting for them to call back to make an appointment about wearing an armband thing for 24 hours. Could well be stress.

Apart from that, I'm all good. Considering how ill I am, how little exercise I'm able to do and how restricted my diet is, I'm fucking pleased with that. Still feel depressed though, don't know why. A downer day.

Oh yeah, I've maintained my weight. Again an achievement given my restrictions that I'm not piling it on.

Maybe newly discovered in an experiment in Hungary last year which went largely unnoticed until now. The discovery of new particles will probably not directly lead to insights into entanglement, because the question of what is the detailed goings-on behind the weirdness of quantum mechanics is - so far - largely independent of what particles there are. One can simply add a new particle to the theories without having to touch the underlying principles of quantum physics - those are as of now two somewhat separate layers. It would be very exciting if they became entangled somehow (pun intended) such that we could probe the nature of quantum physics (many worlds, hidden variables, wave function collapse) more directly by particle experiments.

I had a potassium deficit a few years back. I have no idea what caused it and they didn't say. They gave me a few drinks of blue potassium liquid but they also asked me if I like bananas because they are very high in potassium. I hadn't been eating any because although I like then they aren't my favorite fruit. Anyway, I ended up eating a fuck ton of bananas and I was told to be careful because "You don't want to overdose." And I thought holy shit I know I am eating multiple bananas a day plus potassium drinks but I didn't know bananas were THAT high in potassium.

Don't forget, the potassium in bananas is also radioactive
(not in a remotely dangerous way, it'd take an insane amount to have any adverse effects )
