Not the way I do it.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Watched "The God Who Wasn't There." It's the only non-crazy atheist documentary on Netflix. I liked that it interviewed actual bible scholars and historians rather than internet conspiracy theorist quack atheists. I didn't like the street interviews or the eerie music. Made me cringe.
My ignore list

"The Bible Unearthed" is available on YouTube. The longer I have Netflix, the more disappointed I am with it. It has more free watches than Amazon Prime, but the selection is shit.

I'll look for it. Thanks.
I'm watching Stephen Hawking's "Grand Design." Not impressed. Very superficial approach to a naturalistic worldview. I LOL'd when Hawking said "Philosophy is dead" and then I got to listen to him spout his philosophy.

Ramen, sister!
Just opened up a bottle of Fresita. Horrible muck, but I won it at our 'perjantaipullo' (=Friday bottle) lottery at work. Free alcohol is free 2€
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

at least it wasn't a baby. I always hated havin to deal with those at work. They were like little monsters that left a wake of destruction and a gross sheen on everything . God forbid they were ugly babies, because you knew your tip depended upon how convincing you could be that you--of all people-- were genuinely baby blind. And it never failed, the parents would hang around and wait for the little shitter to drop a load and permeate the room with baby stench before trailing it down the hall to the bathrooms and pretending once out, that all of that didn't just happen before proceeding to hastily leave you a dollar fifty tip just to rub in the fact that you are worth so little in comparison to their bundle of joy. Contemplating why this uncivility is considered the norm in society, you clean up food bits from the carpet, table, undertable, curtains, window, and cieling along with really weird trashbits of unknown origin from the table that look so nasty you pick them up with a fork, finishing the whole process by antibacterialing the shit out of the baby seat for the next bundle of horrors to grace you with its presence.
One time I actually !accidentally! managed to spill a pitcher of iced tea on one very surprised baby boy, and got a $10 tip! Go figure
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
