Just watched 'The wizard of Oz', original on telly with my daughter.
As usual I fell asleep at the end and woke up half way through the next movie, 'Flying High'.
Now I'm trying to remember what the first half involved and how inappropriate it might have been for a five year old.

Incidentally, I think that's the first time I've ever written 'end and' in a sentence. Twice now.

So I’m at a Christian camp with my grandparents and cousins (nobody knows my {lack of} religions yet) and yesterday was my cousins baptism. So as we’re leaving the church some old lady comes up to my grandma and congratulates her on how her grandson has accepted the lord and then starts talking about how it’s great when your kids accept the lord but how it’s better when your grand kids do and I’m just off to the side sweating nervously.

I'm glad that more and more people get to lose religion at younger ages. You be strong and don't bring it up without thinking about the possible consequences first.

I loved it when I was about ten years old. I have the DVD with all extras, but couldn't get arsed to watch the actual movie again. It just doesn't speak to me as it spoke to me as a child. Also there's a very personal incident involved with that movie. The week after I watched it for the first time, I caught the Scarlet. Back then in the early 70ies, you were still hospitalized and isolated, which was a very traumatic experience.

Broke my mobile phone. Not on purpose. Dropped the damn thing and it must have landed badly. Just emailed everyone who tends to text me to tell them what an arse I am and to contact me by other means.

Need to get another quick sharp, I don't like driving without one.
