Where the hell is RobKabob?! I feel like I haven't seen him around here for DAYS...which is entirely too long for a RobKabob to be away from AF! ?

Cooking a Sunday lunch, it's all going well up to now. Apart from burning the carrots that I have just noticed.
Well, I've been at the skate rink with the kids for the last two and a half hours. So far I have managed not to fall down. Quite an accomplishment considering we only get out here twice a month. Still...having fun with our usual gang of friends

More on this in the coming days in my "TRJF's 4000-mile road trip" thread, but funny story:
1. I am in Natchez, Mississippi. 2. I spent the day touring historic Natchez, Mississippi, encountering numerous points of interest. 3. One such point of interest was a monument to Richard Wright, famous author of "Native Son" and "Black Boy". 4. I attended a fancy dinner party at a famous Natchez estate. 5. The guest of honor was Richard Grant, famous non-fiction author of such books as "God's Middle Finger" (about the lawless wilds of Mexico) and the recent "Dispatches from Pluto", and a writer for The Smithsonian magazine (including the cover story of next month's issue). 1+2+3+4+5= 6. I immediately and publicly addressed Richard Grant as "Mr. Wright." Smooooooooooooooooooooooooooth
