Dead battery after a week of non-use?

My old Seat Ibiza would do that... turns out the on-board computer thingy wasn't going to sleep with the car turned off and was draining the battery... not enough to notice if I used the car daily, but leave it for a few days and it would die.
Firmware updated, 40€ later, it's fine and my brother is now a very happy car owner.

Nah, dead battery after leaving the lights on while nomming my lunch.  Oops.

I... all my cars have had some sort of alarm when I open the driver's side door and the lights are on.
Except my current car, it kills the lights when I turn the engine off... I still turn them off most of the times.

I have jumper cables, silly. What I lack is something to connect them to.

Oh I have that, except the alarm also goes off when my lights are off. That's what I get for driving a 19 year old POS with a dodgy electrical system.

Fifty bucks for a tow truck, one giant burrito, and 88 miles later, finally I'm back home. What should have been less than four hours turned into six and a half.

Went out with my love and some friends for dinner, and had squash soup and a salad...it was yummmmm! I wish I was creative in the kitchen. I cook healthy dishes but they're often oh so boring.

I bought an indoor grill this week.  This evening I had center cut pork chops.  They were nummy.

An indoor grill is such a great thing to have! And depending the type you bought, you can just remove the grill plates and wash them easily. Enjoy!
