Cut the cable, my man. They are all the same. They get you contracted with great introductory prices, with the asterisk being that after year one of the two year contract your prices double.
Comcast is especially insidious as they bundle your internet and phone with it, so you are especially locked in.
I'm not quite ready to do that, or rather my housemates aren't quite ready. They did roll back my pricing to what I was paying on contract and guaranteed it for 12 months. I hope to cut the cord by then however, if I don't, the guy advised me to just call back and bitch about the rate hike and they'll roll it back.
It's a shitty practice though - soak people who don't scrutinize their bills closely enough.

I suppose it's all worth it. I always complain, every time I vote, that I feel disenfranchised in the end because I always feel ill-informed. But it was tedious. Lots of bickering and interrupting, and the host didn't exert enough control. Gave me a headache.

Well, not studying, finally. I got an A on the english exam, today I did the French exam, it was surprisingly simple (inb4 I get >A), tomorrow I have a religion exam which I'm not feeling as confident about compared to the previous ones.
