Stripping my sister's second to last computer for parts. I recovered a new set of front panel hardware for testing — something I actually needed — a DVD burner, and a high quality KT133 MOBO+CPU+RAM (it was a top flight upgrade of my home rig once upon a time). The KT133 will make a nice bastion host or small server somewhere down the road. I also recovered a top of the line ATI All-In-Wonder video card, though it's AGP, so it's days are numbered (though my bedroom htpc uses AGP cards, so that will work out swell).
The piece de la resistance though was a top notch power supply; a Seasonic SI-12 series PSU. Apparently, at one time, I thought my sister was worthy of such hardware.
Anyway, I picked the bones clean and threw the rest in the trash. I'm taking a break, drinking coffee, and watching a blu-ray of looping videos of various high def filmed waterfalls.

just had a seizure or somethin. goin back to bed *sigh. So tired of sleeping..
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's
sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god
does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Fretting over whether to buy a condo I saw over the weekend. It needs work and I've got some code-compliance and inspection worries (the microwave/hood isn't vented properly and there's major condensation on the inside face of the living room window, plus the usual worry about dry rot and whatnot) but it's affordable for me, and I think I can do enough work to it to increase its value...
FUCK! Why am I so bad at making decisions?!?!
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
