Aren't they? I think more bands should do that.

Me too. And music artists in general.

Here's a live performance of my favorite rock concept album ever, Hand Cannot Erase for about an hour, followed by other awesome music by Steven Wilson, for about another hour:

He and his band are utterly amazing live. The audio is stunning, the visuals is stunning, the concept is beautiful. It's all stunning.

Here's the concept:

Wikipedia Wrote:According to Wilson, the album is written from a female perspective, and the concept and story are inspired by the case of Joyce Carol Vincent, where a woman living in a large city dies in her apartment and no one misses her for over three years, despite her having family and friends.[6] Wilson explained:

"The basic story, or concept of the record – it's about a woman growing up, who goes to live in the city, very isolated, and she disappears one day and no one notices. There's more to it than that. Now, what's really interesting about this story is that your initial reaction when you hear a story like that is, 'Ah, little old bag lady that no one notices, no one cares about.' [Vincent] wasn't [like that]. She was young, she was popular, she was attractive, she had many friends, she had family, but for whatever reason, nobody missed her for three years."[6]

I've found a much better quality playlist of the same concert. That video the quality isn't great and there's sound loss at points. This is much better quality:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEbfBiHY...R7&index=1

It's a playlist. Go to Youtube to watch all the tracks.

ETA: Damn I wished playlists embedded. Even when you follow the link it just takes you to the first video in the playlist. Damnit.

Making a Death By Chocolate cake for my daughter.

Playing GTA San Andreas like it's 2006
"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.

Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped.

Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.

Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder.

Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
