Online portfolio peacocking my web design work done, best CV I've ever written completed, first job application sent. I'm feeling surprisingly nervous, but now the groundwork's done I can get busy spamming every fucker in a 20 mile radius.
Let the games begin.

Murrica, or Marmite?
Or something like that. I forget exactly what I read it as now... but fucking hell I never misread so many words LOL.

PS4 Pro is released.
Also on November 8th, it's the US election. So that's cool too.

Two pj's?
Isn't one enough?
Well, you wouldn't wear a pant, now would you? It's a pair of pants, one leg per side because I have two legs

By the way, can I just say how much I hate Flexeril? The nausea it causes just sucks.

health insurance apt was a craptacular cluster fuck
New insurance plan is very close to same premium as old one, but with drastically higher copay, deductible and annual cap. Also, I have to get a new physician as he's not on the PPO list, whatever the fuck that is.
And I need to exercise some care here. Yes, I know a physician who's on the list, part of the plan structure, but we're friends, and I'm manifestly uncomfortable to start playing doctor for real with a friend. Realize, I need to bring whoever I get up to speed on all manner of things, and it's important they not have a hangup about any of it.
I've got an apt tomorrow with a connection from 12 Steppers, and I'll pick his brain about physicians in the area that would be appropriate.
I had a horrid experience back in the 80s with a physician who took his Hippocratic oath seriously enough to handle a problem I was having, but he didn't take the oath seriously enough to be nice about it, in fact, he was exactly the opposite.
As for the $$$ aspect, I have to set aside significant financial resources to pay the premium, and the first $7000 worth of medical care I might need in the upcoming calendar year. How the fuck can other people make this work ?? I've got resources, it comes down to budgeting and prioritization for me, but you've got to wonder how most folks without employer funded insurance can possibly make something like this work out. And note, we have LOW commodity prices right now. My farm is OK since it's paid for free and clear. If I had significant debt for paying for land or for paying for seed/chemical/fertilizer input or worse, BOTH, I could be fucked, right now. My farm manager borrows for his 1/2 of the seed/chemical/fertilizer bill, but he is super lucky, his wife has work related insurance that covers him.
Not happy about this. Not happy at all. Who the fuck timed this for before the fucking goddam election otta have some kind fucking award for meritorious fucking idiocy.
