Mexican yes, I think the deity is inspired by both indigenous and Catholic stuff

Yeah, I decided to quickly search it up and it turns out that the Vatican has condemned it as blasphemous and satanic while the Protestants in Latin America are calling it 'black magic' and 'trickery'.
