"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable."

I'm catching up on all the things that didn't get done during the school holidays.
I have mentioned here before about how brilliant my daughter is?
Best in her class at school, receiver of many awards, excels in sport and is highly competitive, etc.
Yesterday she sharpened her finger in a pencil sharpener.
And this is after her best friend did it. The same friend who got a pencil stuck up her nose last year.

I'm serious, but she didn't actually sharpen her finger to a fine point.
Just gave it a good twist and took off some skin and nail.
I'm making a point that no matter how smart a kid is, they're still going to do some really dumb shit.

  • Band concert in the morning at a seniors' home.
  • Spent most of the afternoon sewing and occasionally causing trouble on the Internet.
  • And just as soon as I take the sewing project for one more spin on the machine to finish the seams I basted, it'll be time for my traditional Saturday night bookstore run.  I hear the siren song of a tall dark roast...
