What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
Just thinking how funny it would be for Ivy to agree to see that crazy guy but bring her cop friend

Rasetsu, I feel ya. Its broke city for me too.. Copays got me good this month. In hindsight I shoulda taken them up on their offer of hospitalization Thinking
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

The one bad thing about retirement is that weekends lose their magic.

You learn something new every day. I read a review of my crappy Asus netbook, and learned it has a full size HDMI port. Minutes later, I have a netbook with a 40" screen. Choice!

I've got to read the first 3 chapters of a book for a philosophy group tomorrow, but I don't know how many pages it is. So I'm farting around, drinking coffee, and am about to put together some shopping carts full of junk at Walmart and Amazon. But I'm just puttering today. Lazy Sunday.

Wait... you've had the laptop for a while and had to read a review to notice the hdmi port?
I thought you were tech savvy! Tongue

Now play nethack on that 40 inch screen!

Stuck outdoors in the cold (-8 C without windchill) for about 40 minutes. Was trying to get home from work. Found out my boots aren't really all that good because halfway through I couldn't feel my toes at all and seriously thought I would lose them. Really heavy snow up here so my toes were immersed in ice (the rest of my feet weren't, was wearing heels). But omg, I hate the public transport system so much.

did you think you were going to lose your boots or your toes?
I'm worried about your toes. Take off wet socks and pout your feet in your dry gloves or just hold them in your hands inside your coat sleeve! 40 min is a long time in those conditions..

Something that always distracts me is looking from new music for my playlist. Works like a charm Wink
