You know how you wake up the next day and think about the movie you watched the night before?
To me that is a good indicator of what you really think about it. I'm probably a bit harsh but it was a nothing movie. No real effects, no real story to it, no great acting...Rennie's an xman, not an actor. At the end it's just a little bit of mysterious woo. All too little too late... Boring actually. ![]()

I thought it was interesting. I liked the acting, but I agree it felt like a big buildup to a rushed, uncompelling ending. I liked it overall, I'd give it a 7/10. You won't be sorry you missed it, but it might be interesting enough to watch.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Bought some ready meal mushroom and cheese risotto to try... regretting it. It smelled and tasted vile, I now have all the windows downstairs open despite the cold to rid the house of it and I barely ate any of it.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable." - Maryam Namazie |
